Wayfinding & Directional Signs — Signage & Displays Nairobi

About Wayfinding & Directional Signs

In a hospital, a school or an industrial park, the sign that matters most is the one that stops a stranger having to ask. Wayfinding is not decoration -- it is the difference between a patient reaching Radiology and a patient standing in a corridor holding a referral form.

We build wayfinding as a system rather than as individual boards. That means one typeface, one arrow style, one colour logic and one plate size used consistently from the gate to the door, so a visitor learns the pattern once and then follows it. Directories carry the full department list at the entrance, floor boards repeat the relevant subset at each level, and directional plates carry an arrow and nothing else.

Panels are printed on aluminium composite or engraved into acrylic depending on whether the sign is indoors or exposed. Where a directory is likely to change -- departments move, staff change -- we build it with a slide-in strip system so a single line can be replaced without remaking the whole board.

We will walk the site with you, map the decision points, and produce a schedule before we quote. The number of signs a building needs is almost always fewer than people expect and placed differently from where they assumed.
