About Staff & Membership ID Cards

An ID card is a small piece of print doing a security job, and the two things that decide whether it works are whether it survives a year on a lanyard and whether it can be verified at a glance.

We print directly onto 0.76mm PVC card stock -- the standard bank-card thickness -- rather than laminating a paper insert, which is the version that delaminates and can be pulled apart and re-made by anyone with a laminator. Cards come out rigid, waterproof and colour-stable.

Each card carries the holder photograph, name, role or class, the organisation crest, and a serial number. Barcodes and QR codes can be printed variable so each card is individually scannable against your own register. Where cards need to work with an existing access system we can supply pre-encoded blanks.

We handle the data side as well as the printing: send us a spreadsheet and a folder of photographs and we will lay out the whole batch, name the files back to your reference numbers, and send you a proof sheet to check before anything prints. For a school intake or a company of two hundred staff, that is the part that actually takes the time.

Lanyards, retractable clips, vertical and horizontal holders are all supplied alongside, printed with your branding if you want them to match.
