A barcode is a promise that a scanner will read it first time, every time. Most of what makes that true is invisible in the artwork and shows up only at the till.

Quiet zone -- the clear margin either side of the bars -- is the usual failure. Crowd a barcode with a border or a price and scanners start hesitating. Contrast is the second: black bars on white read reliably; red bars, or anything on a dark background, may not read at all, because many scanners see red as white. Size is the third; scale a barcode down to fit and you drop below what the beam can resolve.

We print at the correct magnification for the symbology you need -- EAN-13 for retail products, Code 128 for logistics and internal inventory, QR for anything carrying a URL or a batch record.

Every label is printed variable, so a run of ten thousand carries ten thousand different numbers, drawn from your own sequence or generated to your specification. Send a spreadsheet and we will match it.

Stock follows the environment: paper for cartons and dry storage, synthetic vinyl for anything chilled, wet or handled, and tamper-evident where the label is a seal.
