1. Who we are

Signsotech Sainz Enterprise ("Signsotech", "we", "us") is a commercial printing and signage company at Mecca House, Ground Floor, Mfangano Street, Nairobi CBD, Kenya. For anything in this policy, contact us at info@signsotech.com or +254 720 986 811. We process personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

2. What we collect, and why

• Contact form: your name, email, optional phone and subject, and your message — so we can reply to you. Stored securely in our database and emailed to our team inbox.
• Quote requests (Quote List & forms): your name, phone number, optional email, the products/quantities you selected and any notes — so we can prepare and send your quote. Stored in our enquiries system; a confirmation may be emailed to you if you provide an email address.
• Blog comments: the name you choose, your comment, and (optionally) email/website if you provide them. Comments are public by design; the engine may set small cookies to remember your details for your next comment.
• WhatsApp / phone: if you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, your number and messages are handled inside those services under their own policies; we use them only to serve your order.
• Technical logs: like every website, our server records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and troubleshooting.

3. Cookies & local storage

• Session cookie (PHPSESSID): a technical cookie that protects our forms against abuse (CSRF). It identifies your browsing session, not you, and expires when you close your browser.
• Quote List (localStorage): the products you add to your quote list are saved in your own browser only — they never reach our servers until you choose to submit the list.
• Comment cookies: the comments engine may remember your chosen name/login between visits.
• Google Ads tag: we run Google Ads conversion tracking (Google tag AW-18127947671). Google may set cookies to measure whether our adverts led you here. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Preloader flag: a harmless session marker so our loading animation plays once per visit, not on every page.

4. Third-party services

• Google services: our pages load Google Fonts, the Google Ads tag, and (on the contact page) an embedded Google Map. Loading these discloses your IP address to Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
• Font Awesome CDN: icon files are loaded from cloudflare.com's CDN, which sees standard request data (IP, browser).
• WhatsApp links: tapping a WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.

We do not use invasive analytics, we do not run third-party ad networks on the site, and we never sell or rent your personal data.

5. How long we keep your data

Enquiries and contact messages are kept for as long as needed to serve you and maintain our business records, then deleted or anonymised. Public blog comments remain until you ask us to remove them. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act you may ask us to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to its processing. Email info@signsotech.com with your request and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) Kenya.

7. Security

Your data is stored in access-controlled systems, form submissions are protected against forgery and abuse, and only our team can view enquiries. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards and keep improving them.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18; if you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves — the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
