About Teardrop Banners
Take an ordinary rectangular flag outdoors and by mid-morning it has wound itself round its own pole and your branding has disappeared. The teardrop shape exists to solve exactly that.
The fabric is stretched over a curved fibreglass pole along its whole leading edge, so it holds an aerofoil shape and stays open and readable in wind rather than flapping. In still air it keeps its shape too, which a limp flag does not.
Printing is dye-sublimation into the fabric, not ink laid on the surface. That matters outdoors for two reasons: the colour goes right through so the flag reads from both sides, and it does not crack along the fold lines after a season of being rolled up. A surface-printed flag looks identical on day one and obviously cheap by the third event.
Sizes run from about 2.5m to 4.5m overall. Bases are the real choice: a cross base for grass or a soft field, a spike for earth, a weighted plate or a water-filled base for tarmac and paving, and a vehicle-wheel base where you are set up beside a car. Tell us the ground you will stand on -- it is the question most quotes forget to ask, and the wrong base is why flags fall over.
Sold as a full kit with pole, base and carry bag. Fabric is replaceable on the same hardware.
