About Receipt Book Printing

A receipt book is an accounting control that happens to be printed. The sequential number is the whole point: it is what lets you prove a transaction happened, spot a missing receipt, and reconcile a day's takings against the pad. Non-sequential books are worth very little to an auditor.

We print on carbonless NCR paper, so writing on the top copy transfers automatically -- no carbon sheet to place, lose or forget. Duplicate gives you a customer copy and a file copy; triplicate adds one for accounts or the driver. Standard convention is white for the customer, pink or yellow for the office.

Books are numbered in a continuous run across the whole order, not restarted per book, which is what makes the sequence useful. Each book is glued and card-backed with a stiff writing shield so the pen does not mark the pad below.

Beyond receipts, the same format covers delivery notes, invoices, job cards, quotation pads, goods-received notes and petty cash vouchers -- anything that needs a copy on both sides of a counter.

Sizes are A5 and A6 usually, A4 for job cards with more fields. We will set your layout with the fields you actually use, including the KRA PIN line if you need it.

Minimum 10 books, which suits a small shop; the price per book falls steeply at 50 and above.
